Einhell expands Power X-Change platform with first cordless shredder
The new REDAXXO 36/25 cordless shredder from Einhell shreds green waste in the garden in ultra-quick time, ensuring it looks clean and tidy. The cordless shredder is a member of the Power X-Change family, making it part of an innovative battery platform that already comprises more than 300 DIY and garden tools. It is supplied with three premium reversible blades made of special steel and a high-quality 55-liter collection bag.
Garden waste shredded effortlessly
Gardening occasionally results in large amounts of cuttings, especially in the spring and fall. A shredder is an extremely practical tool for permanently disposing of garden waste such as twigs and branches, hedge and shrub cuttings, and other plant remains. It chops large quantities of these materials into manageable pieces, and can transform even piles of leaves into a fraction of their original size. The chaff can then be easily disposed of in compost heaps or the organic waste bin or, alternatively, reused as valuable mulch. Among the advantages of mulch are that it protects the soil from drying out, reduces weed growth, and improves the soil structure.
The REDAXXO 36/25 cordless shredder can chop up fresh and even damp cuttings and bushes or dry, hard branches with a diameter of no more than 25 millimeters in ultra-quick time. The necessary power is delivered by two 18 V Power X-Change batteries which can be combined to produce 36 V thanks to twin-pack technology. These are protected by a hinged transparent cover. The shredder comes with three reversible special steel blades to ensure effective operation and perfect cutting results. A stopper located directly on the tool ensures that the chopped material is forced through the generously dimensioned hopper opening before it lands in the high-quality 55-liter collection bag also provided. A safety switch on the hopper causes the shredder to cut out automatically as soon as it is opened for maintenance purposes or so that the blades can be inspected.
The cordless operation, a practical carry handle and the robust chassis with wheels allow the shredder to be transported comfortably to any desired location and used wherever it is needed at the time. For optimum performance, the use of Power X-Change batteries from 5.2 Ah is recommended.
