New cordless band saw from Einhell for spark-free metal cutting

With its new, battery-operated TE-MB 18/127 Li band saw, optionally also available with a base frame, Einhell Germany AG is adding yet another useful workshop assistant to its extensive Power X-Change product range. The 18 V cordless bandsaw offers flexible options for mobile use, while the spark-free metal-cutting action guarantees maximum safety.

Mobile, precise and versatile

The new Power X-Change TE-MB 18/127 Li cordless band saw allows a variety of materials such as wood, plastic and especially metal to be cut without producing sparks – and all without a cable. This ensures the maximum safety while working.

The tool boasts a blade speed of 120 meters per minute, and the quick-lock lever enables the blade to be changed in a matter of moments without the need for additional tools. Thanks to the large cutting width of 127 millimeters and a cutting height of 115 millimeters, even larger workpieces, pipes, and rails can be cut easily. The integrated LED light illuminates the cutting area to ideal effect. The handle can be adjusted without tools, and special Softgrip surfaces make it comfortable to hold.

The cordless band saw is optionally also available with a practical base frame (TE-MB 18/127 U Li). That allows it to be used either as a handheld saw or as a compact free-standing unit with which workpieces can be fixed quickly and easily. The angle for miter cuts can be adjusted from 0 to 47 degrees.

To enable an immediate start, two blades (1141 x 12.7 x 0.65 millimeters) are included in the scope of supply.

Cordless sawing

The cordless operation makes the battery-operated band saw also ideal for locations where there is no access to a power source. Another advantage is that all products of the Power X-Change family can be operated with just one battery type (18 V). The Einhell battery system also comprises more than 250 tools, making it the widest platform for the ambitious DIYer and amateur gardener. The system will be expanded to as many as 450 tools by the year 2027.
