Andreas Kroiss
Chairman of the Board of directors since January 1st, 2003Andreas Kroiss took over as chief executive officer of the Austrian subsidiary under difficult circumstances on June 1st, 1998. He was then a sales professional and performed his assigned duties in an outstanding fashion. His innovative ideas and great commitment enabled him to transform Einhell Austria into a high growth company
Following the success that he had in Austria, the parent company appointed Andreas Kroiss to the Board of directors on March 1st 2001 and gave him the position as head of the Tools business unit. Andreas Kroiss has been chairman of the Board of directors since January 1st, 2003.
Jan Teichert
Chief Financial Officer since January 1st, 2003Jan Teichert was previously employed at a well-known Munich public accounting firm. Einhell Germany AG was one of his clients in the mid 90's, and he provided support for the year-end financial statement and consolidated financial statement.
In 1999 he left his auditing post and joined a company with an international outlook which had about 3,000 employees and turnover exceeding € 500 million. Before he left the company, he held a responsible position in the finance department and made a significant contribution to the restructuring of this function.
He joined Einhell Germany AG on January 1st, 2003 to become the Chief Financial Officer.
Dr. Markus Thannhuber
Chief Technical Officer since January 1st, 2007After studying physics at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich where he specialized in quantum optics, Dr. Markus Thannhuber worked as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institut IAO in Stuttgart and then at the Institute for Human Factors and Technology Management (IAT) at the University of Stuttgart.
He later worked as a researcher in the Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management Department (IEEM) at Hongkong University of Science and Technology.
He received his doctorate in 2003 under Prof. Bullinger, past President of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, for his work on system and organization theory. “The Intelligent Enterprise” (ISBN 3-7908-1555-1) was published in 2004.
Dr. Christoph Urban
Chief IT and Digitization Officer since July 1st, 2019Dr. Christoph Urban completed his studies of computer science with a minor in economics at the University of Passau and a doctorate in the Chair of Operations Research and Systems Theory of Science.
Dr. Urban has been a senior executive in the Einhell Group since 2002. Since 2005, he has been responsible for IT in the Group. On April 1, 2014, Mr. Dr Urban was appointed as Managing Director of iSC GmbH.
Dr. Christoph Urban was appointed to the Executive Board IT and Digitization on 01.07.2019 and is responsible for the group's new division Digital Organization and the further development and expansion of international service structures.
