As a proud partner of “RTL – Wir helfen Kindern”, Einhell supports projects for children and young people
As a long-standing partner of children’s charity foundation “RTL – Wir helfen Kindern”, DIY and garden tool manufacturer Einhell has already actively supported numerous projects aimed at supporting children and young people. An Einhell team once again pulled out all the stops this year to help create a wellness outdoor area at the RTL children’s home in Ahlen. The institution gives socially disadvantaged youngsters and teenagers a healthy meal and extensive support. As part of RTL’s charity marathon, Andreas Kroiss, CEO of Einhell Germany AG, also handed over a donation check to financially support the “Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e.V.” foundation.
A helping hand for shining children’s eyes
Einhell Germany AG is a proud and long-standing partner of the “Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e.V.” children’s charity foundation, providing financial assistance through donations and also actively working on the site to tackle precisely those projects for children and young people where a helping hand is needed.
With that in mind, a team from DIY and garden tool manufacturer Einhell set off for Ahlen with a car full of tools and equipment in order to help the local RTL children’s home spruce up its outdoor facilities. The home has set itself the goal of combating child poverty, and offers socially disadvantaged children and young people healthy meals, attention and extensive support in a safe environment.
The highly motivated Einhell employees set about their work with gusto, installing a nest swing and insect hotels, planting a raised bed, laying a barefoot path, and getting trees and bushes back into shape. One of the absolute highlights for the Einhell team was seeing the shining eyes of the kids when they came along in the afternoon, and the sheer joy they showed as they discovered all the new features. It goes without saying that the children's home was allowed to keep the Einhell tools that had been supplied, which means they are well equipped to look after their new garden in the future.
Andreas Kroiss, CEO of Einhell Germany AG, also expressed his delight at the commitment of his workers: “I am very proud of them, and I know that we at Einhell have really fantastic employees who are always willing to get involved in doing good.” As part of the RTL charity marathon, Andreas Kroiss also handed a check for 150,000 euros to Wolfram Kons, emphasizing: “As a partner of “RTL – Wir helfen Kindern”, we are delighted to have been able to support the children’s projects with our donation and to help where children need this assistance.”
