The FIXETTO 18/38 S cordless stapler and the FIXETTO 18/50 N cordless nailer offer a broad spectrum of applications for a variety of handicraft disciplines. In addition to enabling rapid operation, both tools convince with their higher levels of safety and precision than conventional methods such as hammering in nails by hand or using manual staplers.
The FIXETTO 18/38 S is an easy-to-use professional cordless stapler, ideal for upholstering furniture, for stapling wooden boards or for fastening plastic sheeting, canvas covers or insulation materials. It can be used with staples measuring 10 to 38 millimeters in length and 5.7 millimeters in width.
The FIXETTO 18/50 N, on the other hand, is a high-performance cordless nailer that convinces as a powerful helper on restoration and renovation jobs. It can be used with nails measuring 15 to 50 millimeters in length and 1.0 millimeter in diameter.
Both of these models come with convincing features such as a robust gear unit. Also included is a spacious magazine that can hold up to 100 nails/staples and is easy to open by button for refilling. No tools are needed to remove any nails that might become jammed in the barrel. A level indicator shows how full the magazine is at any time, and a depth adjuster lets you vary and set the exact depth of penetration for the nails and staples so that they do not go in too far.
PressAir Technology for professional use
PressAir Technology requires no maintenance and enables up to 60 shots per minute. Unlike conventional solutions, the air is compressed directly inside the tool in order to “shoot” the nail or staple with the resulting pressure. This does not need an additional compressor, gas cartridge or similar. With the easy-to-reach shooting controller you can select either single shot or serial shot mode to suit the size of the job in question. This means you can also use the cordless nailer or stapler to shoot a large number of nails/staples in quick succession. A safety lug prevents unintentional triggering for protection against injuries.
Rubberized surfaces on the sides and an ergonomic Softgrip ensure comfortable handling. LED lighting integrated on both sides of the housing ensures an optimum view of the work area at all times, even in constricted and poorly illuminated areas.
For instant use the FIXETTO 18/38 S comes complete with 500 staples, while the FIXETTO 18/50 N is delivered with 500 nails measuring 50 millimeters in length and one millimeter in thickness.
Both tools are not only easy to handle – thanks to cordless operation they can be used both indoors and outside with no need to worry about a power supply. Another advantage: All batteries within the Power X-Change rechargeable battery platform are fully compatible and interchangeable and can now be used in over 300 devices for applications in the home, garden, or garage.
