The Fortexxa 18/30 cordless chainsaw is a reliable helper for hobby gardeners needing to cut down small trees or reduce the size of firewood. For trained tree care personnel, on the other hand, Einhell has devel-oped the new Fortexxa 18/20 TH battery-powered chainsaw, which scores high marks with its cordless freedom, low noise and zero-emission operation.
High-quality components for clean cuts
Both the new Fortexxa 18/30 and the new Fortexxa 18/20 TH Power X-Change are cordless chainsaws which come equipped with a high-quality OREGON cutter rail and a high-quality OREGON chain. The chain can be tensioned and changed without tools and is lubricated automatically during use. Both new models can look forward to a particularly long working life not only because of the automatic chain lubrication function but also thanks to a high-performance motor that has no carbon brushes and so needs less maintenance. Other features include a large filler opening that makes it easier to top up with oil. Safety is maximized by kickback protection combined with an instant-reaction chain brake, a chain catch bolt and a stop claw made of metal. And with Softgrip surfaces on the handle there is an agreeable feel to operating these chainsaws. Compared to petrol-driven models, the new cordless chainsaws are lighter, quieter and easier to work with.
Benefits for hobby gardeners and professionals
The Fortexxa 18/30 cordless chainsaw assists the hobby gardener on his occasional tree care jobs. Cordless and independent, it can be used in gardens or woodland areas. The Fortexxa 18/30 features a 300-millimeter cutter rail and a cutting length of 270 millimeters. The chain speed can be varied to suit the application. You can switch between full power mode with a speed of 8.9 meters per second and eco mode with a speed of 6 meters per second. For optimum results it is recommended to use a Power X-Change battery with 4.0 Ah rating or higher.
The Fortexxa 18/20 TH user-friendly one-handed cordless chainsaw is a reliable assistant for trained tree care personnel needing to thin out or prune small to medium-sized trees, to prepare firewood, and to trim or cut up construction timber. It operates with a cutting speed of 7 meters per second. Positioning the main handle above the chainsaw makes it ideally balanced. The cutter rail is 200 millimeters long and the cutting length is 140 millimeters. A tip guard minimizes the risk of kickback, making it not only easier but also safer to cut a branch from underneath. Einhell recommends using a Power X-Change battery with 2.5 Ah rating or higher.
The new 18V models supplement the existing range of chainsaws containing the GE-LC 18/25 Li 18V chainsaw and the GP-LC 36/35 Li 36V chainsaw. All the cordless chainsaws belong to the Power X-Change family, which already includes more than 200 cordless tools for the home and garden.
