Einhell supports children at the RTL Donation Marathon
Once again this year, Einhell Germany AG is participating in the RTL donation marathon in support of the “Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e.V.” foundation. For the sixth consecutive year, the company is taking part in Germany's longest-running TV charity campaign. To mark the 30th anniversary, the charity event was broadcast live for a full 30 hours for the first time – and Einhell was once again part of the commitment to children in need with a donation of EUR 100,000.
The RTL donation marathon is considered one of Germany's most well-known charity campaigns and celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. Hosted by Wolfram Kons, the charity event was broadcast live for 30 hours. Taking part were numerous celebrities, committed companies – and Einhell, which counts among the long-standing partners of the campaign through its repeated participation. "We are delighted to support the RTL donation marathon again this year. As a successful company, we see it as our responsibility to give something back to society – especially to children, who will shape our future," explains Daniel Ritt, Corporate Spokesperson of Einhell Germany AG.
Einhell contributes with donation and auction
On-site in Cologne, Daniel Ritt personally presented the donation check. "The 30th anniversary makes the RTL telethon something very special this year. We are proud to once again be part of this wonderful initiative that moves and motivates so many people every year to do good together," said Ritt.
In addition to the donation, Einhell provided two very special highlights from its two premium sports partnerships this year: a pair of replica racing gloves signed by Mercedes AMG-PETRONAS F1 Team driver George Russell, as well as an original match-worn and signed jersey of FC Bayern Munich player Harry Kane, were auctioned during the RTL Donation Marathon. The proceeds of €2,450 also went 100% to the “Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e.V.” foundation.
